“To be fulfilled with one’s own state of thinking, behaving, interacting, and resting“, can be a decent definition of Mental Well-being.
Even though the idea of Mental Well-being has its subjective versions, the primary concerns are:
- To develop one’s ability to enjoy their life,
- To enable their progressive immunity to fight and dominate unhealthy emotional crises like chronic anxiety, ADHD and others,
- To actively find interests and participate in engagements,
- To be social, communicative,
- To be part of prosperous relationships.
Mental health and wellbeing are dynamic and is greatly influenced by innumerable factors. It can be altered even with a little change in any of them. These factors can be social, psychological, biological, and even factors of the external environment. Any negative impression at the home, workplace, hang-out is of great influence. Even an unanticipated comment is enough to uplift your mood or just ruin your day. A regular cold or an unsatisfactory night’s sleep can just mess up everything that you were looking forward to.
But there are a number of ways to make sanity and good mental health your friend.
- The first on this list should always be proper rest and a good sleep cycle.
- You should take care of your diet.
- Move your body around, maybe a walk or run could just increase your blood flow and help you get rid of the headache that has been bothering you all day.
- Talk about your pain points to the people you love and nurture relationships and social bonds.
- Learn management of time, work, hobbies, and other engagements.
- Be a little social and maybe even get participate in social events.
- Find your own balance between loving yourself and improving yourself.
In brief, love yourself and the others around you.
Always remember, you’re strong enough to do everything with just a little help.

A good sleep is super important! I also love yoga for unwinding in the evening.
